  1. GAKUSEI 1.0 PRODUCT INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

  3. The customer in mind for Gakusei is a Japanese 
  4. language student, or a teacher, who may not have 
  5. hundreds of dollars to spend on computer 
  6. equipment and software.  After running it, I hope 
  7. you will agree that there is nothing quite like it 
  8. among computer-based Japanese language 
  9. learning products.
  10.  
  11. Gakusei lessons are in development now.  A total 
  12. of about 100 lessons, divided among 6 sets, is 
  13. anticipated.  This Gakusei demo contains the first 
  14. 6 lessons.  Lesson set 1, containing the first 15 
  15. lessons, is available now.  As sets 2-6 become 
  16. available, users will be notified.

  18. PRICING

  20. For INDIVIDUALS, the product is priced as 
  21. follows:
  22.     Lesson set 1            $40.00
  23.     postage and handling    $ 4.00

  25. total for new registered user    $44.00
  26. (outside U.S.A., add additional    $ 3.00

  28. For SCHOOLS that wish to use Gakusei, a site 
  29. license is available.  The maximum that an 
  30. educational institution would pay for lesson set 1 is 
  31. $240.00 (plus postage and handling).

  33. 1 installation:            $  40.00
  34. 2 installations:            $  75.00
  35. 3 installations:            $105.00
  36. 4-10 installations:        $130.00-$240.00
  37. more than 10 installations:    $240.00

  39. If you pay the registration fee, you receive the 
  40. entire lesson set 1 plus a printed user manual.

  42. REGISTRATION

  44. As a registered user, you will be notified when new 
  45. lesson sets and upgrades become available.   
  46. When you register, please help us by telling us 
  47. about any problems you may have encountered in 
  48. the installation or operation of the tutorial. 
  49. To register as a user and receive the first lesson 
  50. set, tear off and use the Product Registration 
  51. Form at the end of this manual.

  53. DOCUMENTATION

  55. In a demo version, the file C:\Gakusei\Gakfiled is 
  56. a list of all files in the package. On the registered 
  57. version, the file C:\Gakusei\Gakfilef is the package 
  58. file list.  This manual is available in both Microsoft 
  59. Word (Gakusei.doc) and plain ASCII (Gakusei.txt) 
  60. formats.
